Sata HDD Support 

Due to the rotational velocity and vibration impacts that fans have on hard drives, fan 
redundancy is only supported when using SAS hard drives. Additionally the maximum 
supported temperatures when using SATA drives have been affected as follows: 

 

At 1500 m (5000 ft), the maximum ambient temperature is 30°C. 

 

At 900 m (3000 ft), the maximum ambient temperature is 35°C.
