Establishing a Telnet session in a command-line window

 NOTE

The switch module can be accessed by IP-enabled devices that are connected to SBCE Ethernet 
switch modules. An Ethernet connection to the management module external ports on the SBCE unit 
is required. See the Intel

®

 Blade Server Chassis SBCE: Installation and User’s Guide for more 

information.

Complete the following steps to establish a Telnet session through a command-line window:

1.

Open a command-line window on the network management workstation and type one of the following 
commands and press Enter. Note that the following are default IP addresses.
