LAN Wake Capabilities

I ndependent I nt erface. The board support s LAN w ak e capabilit ies w it h ACPI in t he

Upon det ect ing t he configured w ake pack et t ype, t he LAN subsyst em assert s a w ake-
up signal t hat pow ers up t he com put er.
Wake from USB
USB bus act ivit y w akes t he com put er fr om an ACPI S1 or S3 st at e.
NOTE
Wake fr om USB r equir es t he use of a USB peripheral t hat support s wak e from USB.
PME# Wakeup Support
When t he PME# signal is assert ed on t he PCI bus, t he com put er w ak es fr om an ACPI
S1, S3, S4, or S5 st at e.
WAKE# Signal Wakeup Support
When t he WAKE# signal is assert ed on t he PCI Express bus, t he com put er w ak es fr om
an ACPI S1, S3, S4, or S5 st at e.
Battery
A coin- cell bat t ery on t he Deskt op Board k eeps t he values in CMOS RAM and t he clock
curr ent w hen t he com put er is t urned off. Go t o page 41 for inst ruct ions on how t o
replace t he bat t ery.
Real-Time Clock
The Deskt op Board includes a t im e- of- day clock and a 100- year calendar. The coin-
cell bat t ery k eeps t he clock cur r ent w hen t he com put er is t urned off.
