Installing DRAM SIMMs
When working with DRAM
SIMMs, it is extremely
important that you avoid static
electricity. Always ground
yourself by wearing a wrist or
ankle strap.
1. The SIMM module should face to the right with pin 72 next to the
power supply connectors.
2. Insert the SIMM at a 45 degree angle, tilted towards ISA slots.
3. Gently push the SIMM to an upright position until it "snaps" into
place.
4. Repeat above steps until the entire bank is filled.
