Importing Configuration and Language (QPad)

Settings
You have manager rights.
Take
Connection via USB / Bluetooth available; see p. 50; port
/ interface set up via QPadComm.

Make sure that USB / Bluetooth access is available.
Also see the QPadComm manual. If Bluetooth is to be used, connect a
USB dongle (V.2.1 and higher) to the computer and (with Windows10,
for example) via “Bluetooth settings” pair device QPadX3000 with the
computer and confirm pairing PINs at both PC and QPad display. If
USB is to be used, connect QPad to the computer via a USB cable.

Via QPadComm, menu “Interface”, item “Setup”, select the port (COM3, for
example), adjust the baud rate (Bluetooth: 9600 Baud)
and select “OK”.
You have adjusted the port settings for data transfer. In order to import a language
together with the configuration, load the required language file via QPadComm,
“Settings”, “Files”, “Display language”. As it may be, a further language file can be
loaded as a “Logging language” (details to be defined at time of editorial deadline).

Unlock the system by opening lock 1 or by opening all locks.

Via QPadComm, menu “Interface”, open the port by selecting “Open”.
Data connection

tart export to QPadComm by selecting “Read” in QPadComm and select button
”Protocol” of section “Overview” in order to display the protocol.
With “Read” selected, the configuration of the lock is exported to QPadComm.
With a Bluetooth connection, this process may last a few minutes.
9.
When QPadComm indicates “Configuration written successfully”, close the port via
Q
PadComm, menu “Interface” by selecting “Close” there.
The connection is cleared and a message indicates this.
You have successfully imported configuration and language to QPadComm.
