compartment.

7

.

3

Remove the ice tray when the water is frozen and reset the temperature
control to

4

.

4

Remove the ice from the ice tray over an ice bucket by twisting slightly.

Defrosting the freezer

This refrigerator is not designed to defrost automatically. In order to prevent
damage to the interior liner, you should manually defrost it every three months, or
when ice/frost is approximately 1/4” thick inside the freezer compartment.

1

Set the thermostat dial to

0

and remove everything from the freezer

compartment.

2

Leave the freezer door open to allow accumulated ice and frost to melt.
Remove large pieces of ice as needed. Do not use hot water or electric heating
devices to melt the accumulated ice.

3

Leave the refrigerator door closed.

4

After defrosting, remove accumulated ice and water and wipe the freezer
compartment dry with a soft cloth. In the event that ice is not visibly present
in the freezer compartment, please allow the evaporator located behind the
freezer wall to completely defrost for approximately two hours before
restarting your refrigerator. See Setting the thermostat on page 9 for starting
instructions.

Maintaining your refrigerator

Your refrigerator is designed for year-round use with only minimal cleaning and
maintenance.

looking new.

running efficiently.
