Alphanumeric characters
This chapter is intended to give an overview of how you can use the alphanumeric and
the special characters. You can enter any Western European characters in accordance
with ISO 8859-1 using the keypad.
The IP240 has a numeric keypad and an alphanumeric keypad. Characters with no key
of their own may be accessed by first pressing or +
and then the relevant letter
key.
By briefly pressing the letter key repeatedly in succession, you can select various
characters.
The following special characters are available, and can be entered by pressing the
relevant key sequence from the respective character:
