Intended use:
Breathing circuit is used to transfer gas between patient and ventilator.
Structure and Components:
The device consists of machine end adaptors, corrugated tubes, Y-piece, two-way connector, soft connectors,
limb, caps and humidifier chamber. The assembly drawing is illustrated as follows:

Directions for Use:
1. Wash and dry your hands.
2. Install the humidifier chamber in respiratory humidifier, hang a pre-prepared dropping bottle (500 mL of
distilled water or water for injection) over the chamber for a vertical distance of 0.5 meter, and then
insert the needle into the bottle for 2~3 cm. Remove the exhaust cap on the side of dosing needle,
squeeze the drip kettle below the dosing needle to exhaust the air inside the drip kettle. Repeat the
above operation several times until start the automatic adding liquid normally (visible liquid in
streamlined or densely drip). About 3~5 min, the water in the humidifier chamber will reach the highest
level, and the automatic adding liquid apparatus closes its outlet (the drip kettle is almost in a static
state).
3. Connect both the inspiratory limb and expiratory limb to the Y-piece.
4. Connect the admission end of the breathing circuit to the outlet of humidifier chamber. Connect the limb
to inlet of the humidifier chamber.
5. Connect the exhaust end of the breathing circuit to the inlet of ventilator and connect the other end of
limb to the outlet of ventilator.
6. Separately insert the heater wire adaptors into the three-way connectors at the admission and exhaust
end of the breathing circuit.
7. When using with an infant incubator, insert the temperature monitor wire into the three-way connector
and the temperature monitor port at the admission tube of breathing circuit. If not, insert into the
three-way connector and temperature monitor port at the Y-piece.
