Model HSC2000 Handset Kit

HSC1000 Handset   

 

CHC1000 Charging Cradle 
PSC0101 Power Supply 
Belt Clip 
IG80 Ni-MH Rechargeable Battery Pack  

 

Install the Handset and Charger 

Connect Battery Pack -- 

The battery pack is 

shipped in the Handset, but it is not connected. 

a)  Open the battery compartment and remove 

the battery  

b)  Insert the battery plug into the two-pin jack, 

and insert the battery.   

 

Note:

 The jack is keyed so that the plug can 

only be inserted in one direction. Be careful not 
to crimp wire.  
 
c)  Replace the battery cover. 
d)  The handset display will illuminate when 

battery is connected.

 

 

 
Attach Belt Clip

 – Snap the Belt Clip onto the 

sides of the Handset.  

 

 

Connect Charging Cradle

 – Connect the 

Charging Cradle power supply to the bottom of 
the charging cradle and to the electrical wall 
outlet.

 

 

 
Charge Handset – 

Place the Handset in the 

Charging Cradle.  When properly seated on the 
cradle, the amber light on the front of the cradle 
will be illuminated.

 

 

          

 

 
 

1. 

Immediately place the Handset in the Charging Cradle 
that came packed with the Handset.  

THE HANDSET 

MUST CHARGE AT LEAST 2 HOURS PRIOR TO 
ATTEMPTING ANY SECURITY SYSTEM 
INSTALLATION.  IT MUST CHARGE 12 HOURS 
BEFORE MAKING PHONE CALLS. 

 

2. 

The phone system comes with various settings pre-
defined from the factory. Should you want to change 
these settings we suggest waiting until after you 
activate your system. These settings include, ring 
tones, ring volume, distinctive ringing, display contrast 
etc. 

 

 

Note:

Use only InGrid IG80 rechargeable battery packs 
supplied with your various Home Protection 
components. 

o

 

Replacement battery packs are also available 
through the InGrid’s customer service at 1-877-
INGRID7 or on-line at 

www.InGridHome.com

Use 

only the supplied AC power adapter. Do not use 
any other adapter. 

o

 

Place the power cord so that it does not create a 
trip hazard or where it could become pinched and 
create an electrical hazard. 

o

 

Do NOT use AC power outlets that are controlled 
by a wall switch
