13. Shutting down the unit
This section describes the procedure to shut down the unit. If you wish to work inside the unit, you must carry out
these instructions in the order shown here to remove the power.
1. If there is an active charge process, finalize the charge session.
2. In the case of a unit without protections, disconnect the power from the outside. If the unit has
protections, open it and disconnect the main Q1 switch.
3. Wait 10 minutes for the internal capacitances to discharge, the hot parts which may cause burns to cool
and the fan blades to stop turning.
4. Open the unit and, using the appropriate PPE, make sure there is no voltage in the AC feed or the switch
output in the event the charging point includes one.
5. Signal cut-off point with a sign reading ¨ Caution no switching… ¨. If necessary, rope off the work area.
