9. DC connection
This chapter explains the requirements and process for wiring the DC wiring to the unit.
Read carefully before starting the connection process.
9.1. Safety instructions for the DC connection
Consult section “Important Safety Instructions” and the following instructions before working on the
unit.
Make sure there is no voltage present on the unit before starting the connection.
Do not switch on the power
to the unit until you have successfully made the rest of the connections
and the unit is closed.
Ingeteam accepts no liability for any damages caused by incorrect connection.
Use the personal protective equipment specified in the section “Personal Protective Equipment
(PPE)” .
The grounding of the PV array poles is not permitted in these units.
9.2. Wiring requirements for the DC connection
The dimensioning of the DC wiring will be the responsibility of the installer and must meet the characteristics of
the installation as well as the applicable regulatory requirements.
9.3. DC connection process
1. Remove the plugs from the connectors that are to be used.
