5.6. Available kits
The main kits that can be added to the various versions of the Ingecon® Sun Power.
5.6.1. Nighttime power supply
The control power of Ingecon
®
Sun Power inverters is fed from the PV array. Therefore, when the PV array has no
power, the inverter control turns off. To communicate with the unit at night, you have the option of ordering the night
power supply kit, which feeds the inverter control from the mains.
To supply the inverter from the grid, an auxiliar supply of 230 Vac at 50/60 Hz must be supplied.
The kit comprises the control power supply (AAS0018).

When this kit is installed in the unit and powered by 230 Vac, the display will be operational, allowing users to navigate
through the menus and access the inverter via communications, but the inverter settings may not be changed until
the voltage of the PV array is within the MPPT range.
This kit may be installed in the following cases:
• Units with a transformer
• Units without a transformer (TL) only when connected to a single individual transformer.
It cannot be fitted when:
• Two or more units without a transformer (TL) are connected to the same transformer winding.
