Checks during Operation
Checking for Leak Tightness
Regular general maintenance work on T-Rack
®
s should include checking the tightness and proper working
order of all joints and connections (flanges, valves, couplings, etc.) and repairing any damage that may have
occurred.
NOTE
CAUTION, PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Fluid leakage
– especially where corrosive agents are involved –
may cause corrosion to appear on the components concerned.
Effective measures should be taken to avoid corrosion before it
occurs.
In the event of fluid escaping due to a leak, the affected area
should be properly gasketed, rinsed down with salt-free or low-
salt water and rubbed dry.
If the coating of a coated coupling has been damaged, the
coating must be repaired or the coupling replaced.
6.2.1
Eliminating Leaks
Eliminate leaks by exchanging the corresponding coupling components and pipe connections.
When doing so, note the warnings and instructions provided in section 5 Installation / Assembly, as applicable.
6.2.2
Exchanging Parts
When exchanging parts, only original parts from inge GmbH are permitted to be used.
6.2.3
