LCD/LED Panel 

LCD Keypad Panel for RAID Models 

The LCD keypad panel provides full access to RAID configuration settings and 

system information (refer to ESDS LCD Navigation Map for details). Initially, the LCD 

screen shows the system’s model name and the name can be manually assigned for 

identification in a multi-array configuration.

Status LEDs (1):

 From top to bottom, the status LEDs are power 

(PWR), busy (BUSY) and attention (ATTN). 

 

LCD screen (2): 

The 16x2-character LCD screen provides users 

access to firmware-embedded utility.     

 

Mute button (3): 

Press the 

MUTE

 button to silence the alarm.

 

 

Function and scroll buttons (4): 

Press the 

ENT

 button for two (2) 

seconds on the initial screen to enter the main menu. Press the 

ESC

 

button to clear the current event. Press the 

UP

 and 

DOWN

 arrow 

keys to select viewing items.

 

 

Release latch (5): 

Push the release latch outwards to unlatch the 

LCD screen and gain access to the hard drives positioned behind it.
