Replacing the Supercapacitor
To replace the supercapacitor, follow these steps:
1. Remove the controller module (refer to
Replacing the Controller Module
2. Loosen the
thumb screw (1
)
at the end of the supercapacitor.
3. Lift the supercapacitor from the screw end at 45 degree angle.
4. Insert the replacement supercapacitor at a 45 degree angle; make sure the
protrusion

meets at the front and the
connector (3)
of supercapacitor and
charge board match. Secure the supercapacitor with
the thumb screw (1)
once it is in place.
5. Reinstall the controller.
