JBOD Connections

A 50cm SFF-8088 to SFF-8088 host link cable is included per S48S JBOD

purchased. Please contact your vendor if you need to purchase other cable types or

if you need cable(s) of different lengths. Shown below are some details of the

included and optional SAS external cables:

The cable features include: 28AWG x 8 pair, 100ohm, black, UL approved, lead-free,

50cm, 120cm, or 170cm cable lengths, and connectors that can be secured to

chassis using thumb screws or latching mechanism.

WARNING

All SAS cables are sensitive and must be handled with care. To prevent interference

within a rack system, the cable routing path must be carefully planned and the cables

must not be bent.
