12. TROUBLESHOOTING

12.1

LED INDICATOR LIGHTS

The following table describes the LED indicator light colors and their meaning.

LED

Indicator

Meaning

Power

Blue solid

Normal operation.

Blue flashing

The projector is warming up, shutting down, or cooling down.

The remote control may be disabled while the indicator is flashing blue.

Red solid

Standby mode.

Off

Off or Sleep mode.

Laser

Red flashing

Laser failure.

Temperature

Red flashing

Fan failure .

Red solid

Over temperature.

The projector will automatically shutdown if there is a laser failure, a fan failure or if the projector has overheated. Unplug the

power cable from the projector, wait 30 seconds, and try again. If the warning indicators light up or flash, contact your nearest

service center for assistance.

12.2

SOLVING ON/OFF ISSUES

The following table provides solutions for potential issues that may occur when the projector is turned on or off.

Issue

Cause

Solution

Projector will not turn on.

No power.

Check that the power cable is connected.

Check that the and that the power indicator is on.

The projector has

overheated.

Make sure there is at least 30cm of clearance around the intake and exhaust vents.

Wait five minutes and try turning the projector on again.

If the projector is being used above 5500 ft/1600 m, use the On Screen Display

(OSD) menu to set High Altitude to on.

Projector turns off by itself.

The Auto Power Off timer

is set.

Use the On Screen Display (OSD) menu to adjust the auto power of setting.
