The Battery Charge Port/Heated Gear plug

is located behind the

ignition switch cover.

CAUTION

Wait until engine components have cooled before handling the

gear plug.

The throttle control grip is located on the right handlebar. Use the
throttle control grip to control engine speed.

While seated in the proper riding position:

• Roll the grip rearward

to open the throttle (increase engine

speed and power).

• Roll the grip forward

to close the throttle (decrease engine

speed and power).

The control grip is spring loaded. When you release the grip, the
throttle returns to the idle position.
