Paper size
The INDEX 4X4 PRO Braille Embossing system, including paper in/out handling, is optimised for a
paper length of between 420 (A3) and 431.1 mm (11.0 x 17.0 Inch). For this paper size the paper out
handling will work in the best way. It is important to notice that the effective printing speed will be
reduced if a paper with a width less than 297 mm is used, or if the number of lines is reduced.
It is possible to adjust the 4X4 PRO embossing mechanism for a wide range of paper sizes. If a paper
size, significantly different from A3, is used it can effect the stability of the document handling.

Paper out handling
The paper out handling is optimised for a paper length of 420-440 mm, however longer paper may be
used.
The paper out handling function can be adjusted by the position of the green document guides on the
lower part of the printer. The normal position of the document guides is five millimetres into the paper
margin.
