Prog. Filtro ThD = Prog ThD Filter
Use the keys to enable (On) or to disable (Off) and press the key
F1
to confirm.
There are facilities in which it is recommended to use a harmonics filter. This analysis is
made by a person with technical capacity and with equipment dedicated to the quality
verification of the available electric power in the net. The harmonics filter is only activated
when it is necessary to do some adjustment in the power factor through capacitors banks.
To attend this eventual need the
Smart Cap 485
has the setup "Prog. Filter THD" that after
enabled (On) that the activation output number 1 be made available for activation of the
harmonics filter. In this setup the harmonics filter always is going to be installed using the
activation output 1, which will be the first to be activated when necessary (inductive power
factor and outside the range of programmed control) and the last to be withdrawn (capacitive
power factor and outside the range of programmed control).
10. SUPERVISION / MONITORING
“All the screens show the factory default connection and without no
measurement.”
10.1. POWER FACTOR
10.1.1. POWER FACTOR AND BANKS STATE
The first screen visualized in the display after the boot of
Smart Cap 485
is the screen
that shows the control phase power factor value, the control mode (AUTO or Manual), the
capacitors banks state, in other words, if they are connected, disconnected or disabled.
10.1.2. POWER FACTOR PER PHASE.
Pressing
PF
again it is shown the screen with PF's measurements per phase.
10.1.3. REQUIRED REACTIVE POWER
Pressing again
PF
it is shown the required reactive power (Req.Pow.). This value is how
much is still to add to correct the power factor inside the programmed range.
