Solar or boiler probe housing
(Fig. 3-15)
:
1 -
Pull out the plug and foam insert beside the
internal exchanger.
2 -
Push the probe through the plug (if it has a
suitable hole).
3 -
Insert the probe into the conduit, ensuring
it is placed correctly at the bottom of the
housing.
4 -
Put the foam insert back, and clip the plug
onto the product.
3.8 COMMISSIONING.
Filling the water heater.
- Open the hot water cock/s.
- Open the cold water cock on the safety device
(ensure the unit emptying valve is closed).
- Run the hot water from the cocks then close
them: the water heater will now be full.
- Check water tightness of the fitting to the pipes.
- Check correct operation of plumbing devices
by opening the discharge valve
Power supply to the water-heater.
- Insert the batteries (supplied) in the radio
remote control which will automatically enter
pairing mode (Fig. 3-16).
The pairing process will bring up the screen
shown in Fig. 3-17.
- Power up the water heater.
- The OFF message flashes to show that the
pairing is in progress.
- When the pairing is complete, ON is displayed
for 5 seconds.
Note:
the product can be paired again by pressing
and holding the Setting key for 9 seconds.
- Ensure no error messages are displayed. Oth-
erwise, refer to the system diagnostics chapter.
The temperature setpoint is displayed. The fan
then starts immediately, with the compressor
3 minutes later.
Operational verification.
- Select the "FAN" parameter, and configure it
as recommended in paragraph "Parameter
adjustment".
- After the compressor has been operating for
about 10 minutes, the air outlet temperature
is at least 3 to 4°C colder than that of the air
intake. Water droplets fall from the safety unit
drainage outlet (this outlet must be connected
as specified in "Plumbing connection" section).
Water droplet formation is due to condensation
of the water in the air due to heat exchange on
the evaporator.
- Check the water-tightness of the connections
again.
- If the check is satisfactory, the appliance is
ready. It is then operating in ECO mode in its
factory settings.
- Refer to the Parameter settings section of this
manual, to optimise operation of the appliance.
Note:
during heating with electrical integration
and based on water quality, the water heater
might emit a slight noise similar to that of a
kettle. This noise is normal, and does not mean
the appliance is faulty.
