fects and fast changes in lighting
may trigger epileptic seizures with
photo sensitive persons or persons
with epilepsy!
To switch on the unit, connect the mains cable to
a mains socket (230 V/ 50 Hz); to switch off, discon-
nect the unit from the mains .

start when the temperature inside the unit exceeds 58 °C
and will stop when the temperature has dropped to 45 °C .

ture on page 15) . After the unit has been switched

recently selected (or its setting) . The display will
go out after 30 seconds, but it will be activated
again for 30 seconds when a button is pressed .

4.2 Operation with a DMX controller
The spotlight is set to DMX control when the menu
item
or
has been selected or called up .
When the DMX channel mode and the DMX start
address have been set via these two menu items,
the spotlight can be operated via the DMX con-
troller .
1) Set the
number of channels
(5 or 10 channels)
via the menu item
. The number of DMX
channels depends on the functions required
(
☞
tables, chapter 4 .2 .1) and may also depend
on the number of control channels available on
the controller .
2) Set the
DMX start address
via the menu item
. For separate control of all DMX-controlled
units, each unit must have its own start address .
Example: If the first DMX channel of the unit
is to be controlled by the controller via DMX
address 5, set the start address on the unit to 5 .
All other DMX channels of the unit will be auto-
matically assigned to the subsequent addresses .
Example:
In the 10-channel mode with start address 5,
the channels 1 to 10 are assigned to the addresses 5
to 14 . Address 15 is the next possible start address
available for the following DMX-controlled unit .
