10.2.3 Tension the chain
Before carrying out maintenance work or changing the machine’s settings, it must have
come to a complete standstill. The tractor’s engine must be switched off and the key must
have been removed from the ignition.
Be aware of residual mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical energy present in the
machine.
Work may only be carried out under a raised machine if the machine has been properly
supported.
For reasons of quality and safety, only use original
Imants®
parts.
Replace the chain + spr chain grease at the same time
Make sure the chain case is always sealed with an undamaged cover and gasket
The chain case features a chain access cover. When this access cover is removed, the chain
tensioner can be inspected and if necessary adjusted.
1. Remove chain access cover
2. See the illustration and the accompanying table for the correct adjustments

Slacken bolt connection a few turns
4.
Do up bolt connection
5. Replace chain access cover
