13 Updating the Firmware
Execute the items of the following list to update the device's firmware.
1. Start your internet browser and enter the Image Access homepage address:
http://www.imageaccess.de
2. On the left side in the section Support click on Downloads .
3. Find the desired Scan2Net firmware version for your device. Click on the link to
download the archive file. The update archive file is named “ s2nfirm-x.yy.zip ”.
The character string "x.yy" in the filename designates the firmware release number.
4. Store this file in a directory which is accessible from the S2N scanner.
5. Start your S2N Scan2Net Scanner as described in chapter Fehler! Verweisquelle

6. Click on the "Setup Device" button.
7. Choose the login level "Poweruser".
8. Login with user name "Poweruser" and password "Poweruser".
9. Click on the "Update Firmware" button.
10. Click on the "Browse" button and select the update archive file "s2nfirm-x.yyz.zip" from
the directory where it was stored before.
11. Click the "send file" button.
12. Loading the new firmware to the scanner will take approx. 30 to 40 seconds. When the
update sequence is finished, the scanner switches off itself automatically.
13. Restart the S2N Scan2Net Scanner.
14. After a firmware update, some device parameters have to be calibrated again. Perform
the necessary steps for the calibration before the first scanning.
