9 Settings
9.1 Parameter setting software
9.1.1 Supported parameter setting software
The device can be configured with the following parameter setting software:
• ifm moneo
• ifm moneo|configure SA
u
Install the desired parameter setting software.
u
Activate the licences required for operation.
w
Parameter setting software can be used for parameter setting of the device.
The configuration created with ifm moneo is overwritten when a connection is established
between the device and the PROFINET PLC.
9.1.2 Getting started
Requirements:
ü
The parameter setting software is correctly installed on the laptop / PC.
ü
The laptop / PC is connected to a free Ethernet port of the device.
u
Start the parameter setting software.
u Scan the network for devices.
w The parameter setting software recognises the device.

Optional: Configure the PROFINET interface (

u
Establish a connection to the device.
w
The parameter setting software can access the device parameters.
9.1.2.1 Configure the PROFINET interface
The PROFINET interface of the device can only be set via DCP-capable parameter setting software,
e.g. PROFINET projection software.
With the parameter setting software ifm moneo or ifm moneo|configure (SA), the IP parameters
of the PROFINET interface can only be set during the network scan. In the editor view of the
device, the configuration of the PROFINET interface is read-only.

Start the parameter setting software.

Configure the PROFINET interface of the device.
w The device has a configured PROFINET interface.
