3.2 Installation Precautions

CAUTION:

The UPC-F12C-ULT3 series has more than one power supply

connection point.

To reduce the risk of electric shock, disconnect all power sources

before installing or servicing the UPC-F12C-ULT3 series.

When installing the panel PC, please follow the precautions listed below:



Power turned off

: When installing the panel PC, make sure the power is off.

Failing to turn off the power may cause severe injury to the body and/or

damage to the system.



Certified Engineers

: Only certified engineers should install and modify

onboard functionalities.



Anti-static Discharge

: If a user open the rear panel of the panel PC, to

configure the jumpers or plug in added peripheral devices, ground themselves

first and wear an anti-static wristband.

3.3 HDD Installation

To install the HDD into the system, please follow the steps below:

Step 1:

Remove the HDD slot cover located on the rear panel by removing the two

retention screws.
