2.6.3 USB Controller

The Intel® ICH4 supports six USB ports. Four USB ports are implemented through pin

headers on the IOWA-8522.

The chipset USB controller has the following specifications:

Six USB ports (four implemented)

USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 compliant

Three Universal Host Controller Interface (UHCI) controllers

High-speed, full-speed and low-speed capable

2.6.4 PCI Interface

The PCI interface on the ICH4 is compliant with the PCI Revision 2.2 implementation.

Some of the features of the PCI interface are listed below.
