2.7.1.8 Parallel Port
The multi-mode high-performance parallel port supports the bi-directional Standard
Parallel Port (SPP), the Enhanced Parallel Port (EPP) and the Extended Capabilities Port
(ECP) modes.
2.7.2 Fintek F81216DG Serial Port Chip
The Fintek F81216DG chipset enables the addition of four additional UART serial ports
(COM3, COM4, COM5 and COM6). UART includes 16-byte send/receive FIFO.
The serial port chipset is interfaced to the Southbridge chipset through the LPC bus. Some
of the features are listed below:

