Step 3:

Secure the bracket

. The dual RS-232 connector has two D-sub 9 male

connectors secured to a bracket. To secure the bracket to a chassis please refer

to the reference material that came with the chassis

Step 0:

5.7.3 FDD Cable Connection

The FDD flat cable connects to the IMBA-9454B to one FDD device. To connect an FDD

to the IMBA-9454B please follow the instructions below.

Step 1:

Locate the FDD connector

. The location of the FDD device connector is shown

Chapter 3

Step 2:

Insert the connector

. Connect the FDD cable connector to the on-board

connector. See

Figure 5-11

. A key on the front of the cable connector ensures it

can only be inserted in one direction.
