If the above steps have been completed and the embedded system still doesn’t turn on,
please do the following.
Step 1:
Open the top cover
Step 2:
Check the power socket power cable connector is properly connected to the
power module.
Step 3:
Check that the power button cable connector is properly connected to the
motherboard.
Step 4:
Make sure the cable connecting to the power socket are properly attached and
have not become separated.
Step 5:
Make sure the cable connecting the power button to the motherboard is still
properly attached to the power button and has not been separated.
Step 0:
7.3.2 The Embedded System Doesn’t Boot Up
If the embedded system doesn’t boot up please do the following:
Step 1:
Check the power is turned on. See
Section 7.3.1
above.
Step 2:
Make sure the SO-DIMM module is properly installed.
Step 3:
Reset the embedded system using the reset CMOS jumper.

Some other problems that may occur are listed below:
Nothing appears on the monitor after booting up the embedded system
:
Make sure the monitor is properly connected to the embedded system and
the monitor is connected to a power supply and turned on.
