3.7 Power-On Procedure

3.7.1 Installation Checklist

WARNING:

Make sure a power supply with the correct input voltage is being fed into

the system. Incorrect voltages applied to the system may cause damage to

the internal electronic components and may also cause injury to the user.

WARNING:

The AFL-057A-Z510/Z530 includes a 5 V DC power input connector and a

RJ-45 connector for PoE power. The user must choose either one to

power-up the system.

DO NOT

use the 5 V DC power and PoE at the same

time.

To power on the embedded system please make sure of the following:

The memory module is installed

The CF card is installed

The bottom cover is installed

All peripheral devices are connected

The system is securely mounted

3.7.2 Power-on Procedure (PoE)

To power-on the AFL-057A-Z510/Z530 using PoE, please follow the steps below:

Step 1:

Connect a Cat 5 Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 connector of the

AFL-057A-Z510/Z530.
