Compensation of encoder
If you install the first time a carriage with integrated measuring head and with a measuring tape,
which is applied on the basic body, it should be done a so-called compensation of encoder.
For this purpose the software “S2-Commander” has to be installed on your PC and the PC has to
be connected via an interface with the servo amplifier.
5.1
Define angle encoder
Proceed as follows, to load the motor specific parameter setting inside the measuring head
(encoder):
(1) Select the icon „Encoder“ (
) in the icon line of the S2 Commander.
