6.3.2 Connecting audio cables
Connect the audio cable to the 5-pin terminal block, and then insert the 5-pin terminal block into the
appropriate port on the IMP’s rear panel.
The IMP supports both balanced and unbalanced analog signals.
AWG28 to AWG16 conductor gauge is recommended for optimal performance.
The recommended wire strip length is 0.28 in. (7 mm).

Notes:
・
The output level of balance signal connection is twice as much as that of unbalanced signal connection.
・
When input level of digital audio is 0 dBFS, output levels of analog audio unbalanced and balanced signals
are 10 dBu and 16 dBu, respectively.
6.3.3 Connecting RS-232C cable
Insert and secure the wires from the RS-232C cable into the supplied 3-pin terminal block, and then insert the
terminal block into the mating connector on the IMP.
AWG28 to AWG16 conductor gauge is recommended. The recommended wire strip length is 0.28 in. (7 mm).
Short RTS/CTS and DTR/DSR as needed.
