NVR Failover_Registration
This feature is supported only with DR-8364F/DR-
8364FD model.
NVR Failover feature lets you continue recording on
Stanby NVR devices when the NVR fails or malfunctions.
You can minimize recording loss due to NVR failure.
While in live mode, right-click on the mouse to select
NVR Failover
and the following window appears. You
can register the NVR to monitor for failure and check the
status of the registered NVR.
Failover

Site
: Displays the NVR's site name during failover.

MAC Address
: Displays the NVR's MAC address during
failover.
●
Model
: Displays the NVR model during failover.
●
Version
: Displays the NVR firmware version during
failover.
●
Status
: Displays the status of NVR during failover.
●
Stop
: Terminates the failover feature.
●
Replace
: Terminates the failover feature and change
the target NVR for failover. In this case, the NVR
settings are automatically connected to the new one.
●
Failback
: Terminates the failover feature and restore
the settings of target NVR to its original state.
• Some settings related to network, user, VA Box
and time zone are disabled when the NVR is in
the middle of failover.
• Make sure that UPnP function is disabled to use
failover.
Monitoring
You can check the status of the registered NVR for
failover.

: Selects which NVR to apply failover feature.

: Choose the
Auto
or
Manual
option.

: Displays the site name of the registered NVR.

MAC Address
: Displays the MAC address of the
registered NVR.

: Displays the model name of the registered

: Displays the firmware version of the
registered NVR.

: Displays the status of the registered NVR.

Failover
: Select the NVR to manually apply the failover
feature.
