FIRST USE OF THE WATER KETTLE
Remove the packaging materials and read this instruction manual carefully. In order to clean the
device it is recommended to fill in the kettle (A) up to the marking
MAX
with water and boil it. This
process should be repeated 4 times prior to boiling water for beverages or food preparation. You
should wait approx. 3 minutes between the subsequent boiling processes to let the device cool
down.
To open the lid (E) use the lid opening device (I). Push the opening device down, the lid moves
upwards and locks in place. To close the lid preferably push the opening device down, the lid
moves downwards, finally release the opening device. When the kettle is hot, do not open or close
the lid, for the water and the lid are very hot. Do not try to open the lid on the spout (G) –
risk of
burns!
