Troubleshooting Diagram 2



The Run LED [RUN] is not On

The run LED [RUN] turns on when the PLC is running.

Is the stop/reset input

switch or the function switch

used to run/stop the PLC?

The run LED [RUN] is not on.

Click the Start button in WindLDR on a
computer connected to the FC6A Series
MICROSmart.

END

Call IDEC for assistance.

Is the error LED [ERR] on?

See Troubleshooting Diagram 3,
"The Error LED [ERR] is On"

YES

Is the run LED [RUN] on?

Monitor M8000 (start control special
internal relay) using WindLDR.

Is M8000 on?

Turn on M8000 using WindLDR.

Is the run LED [RUN] on?

Turn off the stop/reset input and set the

function switch to "1."

Is the run LED [RUN] on?

YES

Note:

The Start button is found in the WindLDR menu bar.

YES

Note:

To monitor M8000, from the WindLDR menu bar, select Online >

Monitor > Monitor, then Online > Custom > New Custom Monitor. Enter
M8000 in the Device box in the Custom Monitor dialog box.

Note:

To turn on M8000, enter 1 in the Current Value box in the

Custom Monitor dialog box.
