3.2 REMOVAL / REPLACEMENT OF COMPONENTS
WARNING:
Do not operate the boiler without a
front panel fitted
When replacing any component.
1. Isolate the electricity supply.
2. Turn off the gas supply.
3. Remove the boiler front panel.

4. Swing the control box down into its servicing position.
After removing / replacing any component.
5. Ensure all gas valve connections are gas tight with a gas
soundness check up to the gas control valve.
6. Ensure all water connections are tight.
7. Test the appliance for correct and safe operation.

Notes.
1. In order to assist fault finding, the control panel has an
LCD diagnostic display. The key to boiler fault conditions
is shown in Section 4.

3.3 DRAINING THE BOILER
CENTRAL HEATING CIRCUIT
1.
Close all the CH water isolating valves on both the flow
and return.
2.
To drain the primary heat exchanger circuit: Open the
drain valve and attach a length of hose to the CH drain
point.
3.
After replacing any component on the boiler, remove the
hose, close the drain valve and open all system isolating
valves.
4. Repressurise before proceeding to check operation of the
boiler.
