ADDING WIRED CONTACT SENSORS
When mounted permanently the unit is compatible with IDEAL wired magnetic
contact sensors SK619. When connected the sensors will activate the alarm in the
same manner as the built in motion sensor.
1. Mount the contact sensors as described in the instructions for the SK619.
Measure and cut the sensor wires to the length needed to reach the unit plus
about 3 inches of extra wire. Strip about 1/2 inch of insulation from each wire.
2. Open the rear cover of the unit to access the input terminals.
3. Feed the two wires through one of the slots on the side of the unit. Using a
small screwdriver connect one wire to the terminal marked “TRIGGER” and the
other wire to the terminal just beside it marked “GRND”. Either wire can be
mounted to either terminal. (Fig.8)
4. Close the back cover. The unit is now ready to be armed
ADDING A WIRED EXTERNAL SIREN
When mounted permanently the unit is compatible with IDEAL wired exterior
siren SK613. When connected the external alarm will sound when the main unit is
triggered and the function switch is set to “ALARM”. The Siren will not sound when
the function switch is set to “CHIME” or “HOME” is selected with the
Remote Control
1. Mount the Siren as described in the instructions for the SK613. Measure and
cut the sensor wires to the length needed to reach the unit plus about 3 inches
of extra wire. Strip about 1/2 inch of insulation from each wire.
2. Open the rear cover of the unit to access the input terminals.
3. Feed the two wires through one of the slots on the side of the unit. Using a
small screwdriver connect the black striped wire (-) to the terminal marked
“GRND” and the other wire (+) to the terminal just beside it marked “SIREN”.
The polarity of the wires must be respected for the Siren to function. (Fig.9)
4. Close the back cover. The unit is now ready to be armed
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. Do not install alarm where it will be exposed to direct sunlight or rain.

5. The unit is designed to be used with the built in AC adapter plugged into a
110V outlet. Batteries will provide short term back-up functionality.
6. It is recommended that batteries be replaced annually - like smoke detector
batteries.
