External connectors
The external connectors on the Junction Box are used to link the printer inputs/outputs and the
communication between each unit with an HMI or PC.
Details of the connections are listed below:
Circular connector for the Touch Screen HMI (See
“HMI for multiple printers” for details about UI)
Connections for up to four heads via DB15HD Male
and RJ45 for Ethernet.
This RJ45 port is used to connect to an external PC.
DB15HD Female to connect BCD Signals. These
signals are then shared between all the printers
connected.
DB15HD Female to connect an external product
photocell. This signal is shared between all the
printers connected.
DB15HD Female to connect an external encoder.
This signal is shared between all the printers
connected.
DB15HD Female to connect a single alarm beacon.
The alarm beacon displays the status of the printers
whose alarm output jumper (out_noError) are
placed in position 1-2: Green Alarm light indicates
all the printers are running. Red indicates one of the
printers is stopped or has an error. Flashing red
indicates one or more printer has a low ink warning.
