12. Rewind Assembly Maintenance

Refer to the drawings and diagrams section for assistance when performing maintenance on
the rewind assembly. No adjustments are needed.

Rewind Flange not shown for illustration purposes.

12.1 Drive Belt Removal

After removing the rewind clip, remove the screw and directional washer retaining the rewind
spindle on the shaft. Rotate the tensioner arm to remove tension on the belt and remove the
belt from the drive pulley. Slide the rewind spindle off of the shaft making sure that the shim
remains on the shaft. The drive belt can be removed and replaced at this point.
