9.2. Web Radio
. Operating the Web Radios
The web radio function allows to play an audio stream from a third-party sound system solution as described
in External Audio Sources (page 17). This audio stream can be generated both by a remote service (as the
internet web radios) or by a local service (as a local broadcast audio server). The supported audio stream
format is the MP3 standard (MPEG layer 3). The address of the web radio (URL) must be a MP3 stream path
(.mp3) or a M3U playlist path (.m3u) that points to a MP3 stream path. (Please refer to Characteristics (page
63)).
