6.3. ENGINE FALURE IN FLIGHT
- Set and maintain the best glide speed;
- FLAP retracted;
- Look for and head for the best available field for an emergency landing
- Check Nourice reserve lamp off and the quantity of remaining fuel;
- Check the position of the fuel shut-off valve;
- Check magnetos ON;
- Hot air to carburettors ON;
- Electric fuel pump ON;
- Throttle 1 cm above the minimum;
- Try to restart the engine;
o
If the engine restarts, take altitude and land on a safe place in the shortest possible
time.
o
If the engine does NOT restart, perform an emergency landing with the engine off

6.4. FIRE IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT
6.4.1. FIRE ON GROUND
- Stop the aircraft;
- Close the fuel shut-off valve;
- Brake;
- Set the maximum power until the engine stops;
- Electric fuel pump OFF;

When the engine stops;
- Magnetos OFF;
- Master switch OFF;
- Quit the aircraft;
- If necessary and possible, extinguish the fire.
