5.2.3 Using Modbus RTU command to get a Specific CAN Message

The I-7530A-MR-FD supports a

“Specific CAN Message” field to get the

expect 100 specific CAN messages . When receiving a CAN message whose
CAN ID is defined in the Specific CAN Message by the Utility tool, the I-7530A-
MR-FD will save this CAN message to the

“Specific CAN Message” field.

Users can use the Modbus RTU command (function code 04

hex

) to directly

read  the  CAN  message  from  this  field.  It  is  usually  used  to  get  the  important
CAN  messages  immediately.  The  start  address  of  the  command  must  be  the
same as the start address  defined in the Specific CAN Message field, and the
data length field must be a multiple of 9.
