CLONING TWO TRANSCEIVERS
CLONING allows the transfer of certain data from one transceiver to another without the
use of a PC
To clone two transceivers, you need a cloning cable, Ref. IC-OPC444.
All the channel linked data are transferred.
In the explanations that follow, the source transceiver is called the
« MASTER »
and the
one receiving the data is called the
« SLAVE »
ATTENTION
1.
Make sure the transceiver battery packs are charged.
2.
Cloning is only possible between transceivers of the same type and
version.
3.
When you remove the battery pack from the transceiver, you will see
a round black sticker indicating the handset version. #2 , # 52,
#54.
4.
For version #54, there are in fact two sub versions. How can you
distinguish them?
Press on the red button
while turning the transceiver on.
-
If you see information scrolling on the display, it is the new version.
-
Otherwise, it is the old version.
THE OLD AND NEW VERSIONS CANNOT BE CLONED TOGETHER.
5.
A « SLAVE » transceiver which has been cloned with a « MASTER » can
in turn be used as a « MASTER »
1. 6.
Access to the CLONING and SET MODE functions can have been
disabled via software programming. If this is the case, contact your
Logistics Department.
