Squelch burst:
While using the tone squelch, noise may be heard just
when the received signal disappears.
To eliminate the noise, the IC-U80/IC-U80E has the
Squelch Burst function.

Pocket Beep function
This function uses subaudible tones for calling, and can
be used as a “common pager” to inform you that someone
has called while you were away from the transceiver.
