NMEA 2000 CONNECTION

Description

■

NMEA 2000 is a communication standard used to connect
various marine devices and display units in the vessel.
The IC-M506EURO can easily connect to a NMEA 2000 net-
work with its plug-and-play functionality, and display the infor-
mation provided from the devices on the network.

NMEA 2000 settings

Select the sensors in NMEA 2000 network which sends data
to the transceiver.

Enter “NMEA 2000 SETTINGS” menu in the menu

screen.

Select the type of data from the menu screen and push

[ENT].

e

The transceiver starts searching the devices connected to

NMEA 2000 network.

r

The list of connected device is displayed.

t

Select the device to send the data to transceiver and push

[ENT].

• Push [INFO] to display the detail of device.

• If the transceiver is connected to both NMEA 0183 and NMEA

2000 devices, the NMEA 2000 device has priority. Select “Not
Used” if you want to use NMEA 0183 devices.

• Push [BACK] to return to the previous screen.
