Emergency transmission

The P25 emergency mode can be accessed by pushng the

[Emergency]

key. An Emergency alarm s automatcally

transmtted once, or repeatedly*

, to the dspatcher (Trunkng

mode) or Talkgroup (Conventonal mode).
Moreover, whle n the emergency mode, Emergency calls
can be transmtted wth

[PTT]

to a Talkgroup.

If your transcever s programmed for Slent operaton, you
can transmt Emergency alarms and Emergency calls wthout
the beep soundng or the LCD dsplay lghtng.

Transmitting an Emergency alarm

Push and hold

to enter the emergency mode.

has passed, the trans-

cever automatcally transmts an Emergency alarm once,
or repeatedly, to nform the dspatcher that the transcever
s n the emergency condton.

• To ext the emergency mode, push and hold

fore transmttng an Emergency alarm.

• When the emergency repeat cycle s set to ‘1,’ the transcever

transmts an Emergency alarm, exts the emergency mode and
returns to normal operaton.
