Transmitting an SDM
D General
The short data message, SDM, can be sent to an ndvdual
staton or group statons. Also, 8 SDM memory channels are
avalable and the messages can be edted va PC program-
mng.

Durng stand-by operaton, push [BIIS Button] , then push
[CH Up]
or
[CH Down]
to select the desred staton/group
code.

[BIIS Button]

[CH Up]

[CH Down]
to select the desred SDM.
Or, you can select the desred SDM usng [Status Up] /
[Status Down]
key drectly.
SDM is displayed.

Push [Call] or [PTT] * to transmt the SDM to the selected
staton/group.
* PTT call can be made only when PTT call capablty s permt-
ted.
• 2 beeps wll sound and the transcever returns to stand-by op-
eraton automatcally when the transmsson s successful.

SDM to be edted.

the cursor to the left.
