– Malfunctions
Before contacting us
Follow the steps as indicated for dealing with a warning or a malfunction
message appearing on the display of the HD 450/HD 450
Injection
. In
addition, you will find
the most important occurrences in the following table. These situations
are listed next to possible causes and the corresponding courses of
action.
Should you not find your situation in the table below or should the
actions you take be unsuccessful, please contact an authorized
representative. To better help you, please have the serial number of
your HD 450/HD 450
Injection
ready, as well as a detailed description
of the malfunction.
General situation

Knocking or clattering
noises in the washing
chamber
Washing arm is hitting the
instruments and vessels
Cancel program, rearrange washware
and restart program
White deposits on the
instruments
The water softening system
has not been programmed
The deposits on the instruments
are from the remains of dental
cement
Check the hardness of the tap water and if
necessary, reprogram the water softening
system
Manually clean the instruments before the
cement hardens
Spots on the
instruments
Neutralization agent is missing
Add rinsing agent
Unsatisfactory
cleaning results
Base rack and/or basket inserts
or racks not loaded properly or too
full
Arrangement leads to spray shadows
Dirt and stains are too dry
