Types of loads
You may clean and disinfect the following types of washware in the
HD 450/HD 450
Injection
:
Solid instruments up to a max. of 6 kg
Glassware, e.g. beakers, test tubes etc.
Bowls, dishes, and receptacles
Hollow objects, e.g. suction cannulas, which are attached to hollow
nozzles or transfer instruments, e.g. handpieces and
elbow attachments using an adapter.
Dental transfer instruments

Use only turbines, handpieces and elbow attachments which
manufacturers have approved for use with automatic processing in
a cleaning and disinfection unit. Be sure to follow the instrument
manufacturer's instructions.
Should there be any undesirable results with the handpieces
and elbow attachments even though the manufacturer's
instructions were followed, the responsibility lies with the
manufacturer.
Suitable program
Take note of the following before using the unit to process instruments
The outer surfaces of the handpieces and elbow attachments should be free
from any remaining substances, e.g. dental cement.
Air canals and spray canals must be free all the way through
Wherever possible, do not allow any dirt or impurities to dry on and inside
the handpieces and elbow attachments.
Suitable processing media
A Thermo Tab must be used for cleaning.
